Gottfried - Neue Lagerhallen und Erweiterung der Solarstromerzeugung

By constructing two warehouses, Gottfried is increasing his storage space for packaged goods and spare parts by about 2000 m².

A new PV system has been installed on the new and some existing roof areas, so that the rated power has now more than doubled to 867 kWp.

With these investments, Gottfried is improving the reliable supply of packaged raw materials to his customers.

Additionally, it is another step towards a more independent power supply with green energy and is reducing the CO2 footprint of our products.

Gottfried is converting the firing of chamotte and other minerals in rotary kilns from fossil fuels such as oil and coal to biogenic fuels such as wood.

For this purpose, an extensive plant for processing waste wood into a defined wood flour was built and put into operation.

We have now succeeded in replacing the fossil fuel coal with biogenic wood. In this way, we are achieving a saving of climate-damaging CO2 emissions

in the order of 10.000 tonnes per year. Another important step towards efficient and sustainable raw material production.

In June, the fair ceramitec took place in Munich and after the difficult time with Corona, Gottfried welcomes a lot of customers and interested visitors personally.

In addition to the 100 year anniversary of the company, the presentation of the new product line ARGOLITEC had focused the attention.
